Whew! We finally launched!
I’ve been working on this project for a while now and can’t wait to show you some of the thoughts and details that went into these knits.
Initially, I designed six distinct pieces using various yarn blends. However, after sampling and testing, we moved forward with the crop shirt, skirt, and dress. Here's what made it to production:
The Ella Dress
The Ella dress is made from non-dyed organic Pima cotton. It’s breathable, versatile, and perfect for those who run warm. The design incorporates materials and stitches that elevate its functionality and beauty.
Pima Cotton Benefits
Pima cotton thrives in warm climates like Peru. Its long fibers provide exceptional softness, durability, and resistance to pilling, making it ideal for luxurious knits.
The Stitch
The Ella Dress features six hand-crocheted sections that add elegance and structure. Each piece is crafted with care using a manual knitting machine, ensuring high quality and individuality.
Production
The production process involved meticulous adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. After two iterations, the final version achieves a balance of comfort and style.
The Ashley Knee Skirt and Sarah Crop Top
These pieces, made from a blend of Tanguis cotton and viscose, are designed for versatility. They offer a polished look for day and can easily transition for evening wear.
The Stitch
The braids in the crop top and skirt align to create a seamless and polished look. The intricate design adds a touch of sophistication to these versatile pieces.
